Equipment for determining the BOD with the traditional manometric technique up to 1000 mg/ l ( ppm) ; higher values are determined after dilution. It can simultaneously house 6 bottles.
Each position is fitted out with bottle, manometer and 4 scales for the intervals up to 90, 250, 600 and 999 ppm BOD.
The sample quantity to be examined varies from 100 to 400 ml, and the bottle’ s total capacity is 500 ml. The samples are continuously stirred by a magnetic stirrer with 6 positions.
